Takeoff
Load the layout drawing, set the scale, then trace areas, run lengths, or count items on screen. Send measured quantities straight into the BQ.
Takeoff register
New measurements start in Unassigned. Tick them and "Assign ticked to trade". Under a trade, add sub-trades (e.g. Sound Rated Partition), then drag a row by its ☰ handle into a sub-trade, or tick rows and "move ticked here". The tick box beside any trade or sub-trade name selects everything in it. Each sub-trade sums into one BQ line on send. Drag moves stay within the same trade.

Joinery takeoff
Trace a cabinet run with the "Joinery (L)" tool, or add rows manually. For a ft/m linear rate only the length matters. For a sqft/m² rate, fill in the height too so measure × height gives the area (e.g. writing glass 2.4m × 1.2m × RM120/m²). Rate and quantity both go to the BQ, which lands in the "Joinery" section. Choose "nos" for a unit price or the measure for area/length pricing.
